This Privacy Policy explains what information Vidzy ("we," "us") collects when you use our AI video generation and publishing service (the "Service"), and how we use, share, and protect it.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address and sign-in method, via Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in or email/password).
Business profile: any business name, website, address, email, or description you choose to enter, used to personalize generated scripts and video descriptions.
Content you create: video subjects, scripts, and the finished videos and thumbnails generated for your account.
Connected accounts: if you connect YouTube or TikTok, we store the OAuth access/refresh tokens needed to publish videos on your behalf, and basic channel identifiers (e.g. channel name).
Usage data: standard server logs (timestamps, request paths, error data) used for operating and debugging the Service.

How we use your information

To generate, render, and store the videos you request.
To publish videos to YouTube and/or TikTok when you explicitly connect an account and request or enable auto-publishing.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
To communicate with you about your account when necessary.

YouTube API Services disclosure. Vidzy uses YouTube API Services to let you connect your YouTube channel and publish videos. By connecting your channel, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of information received from Vidzy's use of the YouTube API Services is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Vidzy's access to your YouTube account at any time from the Google security settings page, or by disconnecting YouTube from within Vidzy.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate Vidzy, including:

Firebase / Google Cloud - authentication, database, and hosting.
YouTube Data API and TikTok Content Posting API - only when you connect an account, to publish videos you request.
AI and stock-media providers (e.g. your configured LLM provider, Pexels/Pixabay) - to generate scripts and source stock footage for your videos.

Data retention

We retain your account data and generated videos for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual jobs/videos from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by contacting us - we will delete your stored data and disconnect any connected platform tokens.

Security

We use industry-standard practices (encrypted connections, access-controlled cloud storage, signed session cookies) to protect your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Vidzy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
